Albert Henry Pierantoni

Albert Henry Pierantoni, Mazomanie, Wisconsin – age 97, of Highwood, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his daughter’s home surrounded by family. He was born on October 25th, 1918 in Litchfield, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane (Monciwodzinski); his siblings Pete; Fred (Lottie); Ernie (Kay); Stella (Waddy) Pigati; Alba (Tunney) Neunaber; Daughter-in-law Karen; Great-grandson Eric, and numerous friends. He was loving father of Daniel Pierantoni and Sally (John) Quisling, proud grandfather of Jason (Claire) Quisling, Mark (Sandy) Pierantoni, Joshua Quisling, Danielle (William) Nasello, Michol (Greg) Banes; cherished great-grandfather of Justine, Nicholas, Corinne, Josephine, Gianna, Nathan, Greyson and Yvangeline.

During his 30-year tenure as owner of Al and Jane’s Restaurant he was an honored-member of the National Licensed Beverage Association and the Illinois Licensed Beverage Association and was influential in shaping state liquor laws. He was a driving force in the development and expansion of the Highwood Public Library. His love for all, including troubled youth, lead him to become one of the largest private fundraisers for Sky Ranch for Boys. His value of joy and laughter, unrelenting hard work, his principles and constant wisdom remain a part of all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation Saturday, July 30, 2016 10:00 AM funeral mass 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL
