Larry Eugene Barton Sr., age 75 of Beach Park, Illinois passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan surrounded by his family. He was born September 19, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served in the United States Marine Corps,  Vietnam Era. He worked many years at the Anne Kiley Center, drove taxi, and was an over-the-road semi-driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cloy and Vivian Barton, brothers James and Dennis Barton, and grandson Cory Gonzalez.

Surviving family wife Ella Barton and children Larry Barton Jr. (Alissa), Deanna (Philip) Matos, Tennille (Bob) Wons, Shannon (Jose) Morales, Robert Edmaistion, Martin Black, Mary Jane (Dean) Dupler, Grandchildren Larissa Barton, Larry Barton III, Miles Barton, Courtney Saez, Rabecca Brown, Bethany Williams, Philip Matos Jr., Cierra Combs, Daphne Franz, Ramona Barton, Arianna Morales, Angelina Morales, Jocelyn Morales, Martin Black Jr., Julian Black, Sosa Gonzalez, Araceli Gonzalez, Alexis Gonzalez, Catilina Gonzalez, and great-grandchildren Marley, Louie, Anthony, Corra, and Charlotte. Sisters Shirley Wilson and Linda Hobbick. First wife Gail Snoodie.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 10:00 - 10:45 AM  at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home,  858 Sheridan Road, Highwood, Illinois going in funeral procession to Fort Sheridan National Cemetery, Highwood, Illinois for military honors. A memorial luncheon will follow at Louie's Restaurant, 1009 North Av, Waukegan starting at 1:00 PM.
