It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Sheila Ballog who peacefully succumbed to cancer on February 4th at the age of 64. Her courageous battle against this relentless disease serves as a testament to her strength and resilience.
Born on August 29th 1959, Sheila brought immense joy and love to the lives of everyone she touched. As a dedicated mother, and grandmother, she poured her heart and soul into nurturing her family and creating a loving home. Her unwavering devotion to her two children and several grandchildren was a cornerstone of her life, and their affection for her knew no bounds.
Sheila’s warm and caring nature shone brightly, even in her final days. Throughout her illness, she faced unimaginable pain with remarkable grace and unwavering courage. Her strength inspired all who witnessed her journey and left an indelible mark on their hearts.
In addition to being a pillar of strength for her family, Sheila was known for her boundless love and compassion for others. Her joyous spirit and acts of kindness touched the lives of many. She never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand or provide words of comfort. Her selflessness and generosity were unmatched and will forever serve as a source of inspiration.
She will be profoundly missed by her surviving children, Clark and Katie and her adoring grandchildren. Sheila, showered her grandchildren with affection, finding immense delight in their laughter and innocent curiosity. Although she is no longer physically present, her love will continue to guide and protect them as they navigate life's journey.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral mass starting at 10:00 A.M. at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church 8149 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714
Interment will take place after funeral service at Mount Carmel Cemetery 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162
