Jovan Dimitrijevic, 90, of Athins, GA, and most recently of Libertyville, IL passed away May 2, 2020 at the ManorCare Health Services of Libertyville, he was born January 27, 1930 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia to the union Predrag and Edita Dimitrijevic, after escaping several time from Yugoslavia during WWII, he settled in the US in 1960.
Jovan is survived by his children; Milica Castaldo of Hainesville, IL, Dragan (Dawn) Dimitrijevic of Antioch, IL, the late David Grinick, Ann Marie Monroe of Chicago, IL, and Michele Dimitrijevic of Bethlehem, GA, grandchildren; the late Michael Castaldo, David (Valeria Loyola) Castaldo, Ashley (Patrick Dedina) Moore, Axl Dimitrijevic, Alex Dimitrijevic, Amanda (Scott Kreger) Marino, Mara Machamer, and Mia Benartzi, gr grandchildren; Danielle, McKenzie, Mya, Kelsea, Anthony, Sydney, Avery, Aubrey, and Luke, sister; Vesna (Sen) Vracar, preceded in death by his parents Predrag and Edita Dimitrijevic, son; David Grinick, and his grandson; Michael Castaldo.
