Mary Toinette Marco

Mary Toinette Marco, age 62, passed away on February 4, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.

Toinette was born October 17, 1963 and raised in Chicago, where she built her life surrounded by family and the city she always called home. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Bridget and Chris, and a proud grandmother to five grandchildren — Chris’s son and Bridget’s four children — who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her brother Patrick and her sister Maria.

Toinette had a creative soul and a deep appreciation for nature. She especially enjoyed bass music, which brought energy and happiness into her days. She also loved collecting meaningful treasures, crafting, and getting lost in a good book.

Above all, Toinette will be remembered for her love of family, her creative spirit, and her unique personality. She leaves behind many memories that will be cherished forever. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. 

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
