Robert D’Agostino 79, of Grayslake, IL, formally of Chicago, passed away peacefully at his home December 23, 2018, he was born August 24, 1939 in Chicago, IL, and was the youngest of three children to the union of Sabatino and Antionette D’Agostino, Robert was the Property Tax Manager for Canteen Food & Vending Corp, a division of Compass Group USA, and retired after 37 years of service in 2000, he went on to Volunteer his time as an AARP Tax Aide preparing seniors taxes in Gurnee, also served as an usher at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, and had a love for playing pool, cards, dominos, and trivia.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years; Evonne nee: Schraft D’Agostino of Grayslake, IL, his nieces and nephews; Fred (Trudi) D’Agostino of South Milwaukee, WI, Linda (the late Avery) Stokes of Hanover Park, IL, Ralph (Katherine) Rasmussen of Antioch, IL, and Rosemary D’Agostino of Burbank, IL, his great nephew Anthony D’Agostino of Hewitt, TX, and his great niece and Goddaughter; Valerie Rasmussen of Antioch, IL, and his sister-in-law; Mary D’Agostino of Hanover Park, IL, preceded in death by his parents Sabatino & Antionette D’Agostino, his sister Nancy Rasmussen, and his brother; Erminio D’Agostino.
Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd.
