age 99 of Lake Forest. Passed into eternal life Sunday, February 2, 2020 at her home. She was born September 1, 1920 in Calabria, Italy to the union of William Louis and Michelina (Bosco) Santello. She immigrated to the United States in August of 1925. Arriving in Chicago, she then moved to Highwood a few years later. She attended St. James School and Highland Park High School during the depression and went to work like many of her generation. On June 29, 1940 at St. James Church, Highwood she married August Ziccarelli and the family resided in Highwood and Highland Park until 1972 and in Prospect Heights from 1972 to 2000. Rosalie worked at the Burger King in Highland Park from 1969 to 1985 and was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation Saint Anna Branch. Rosalie was devoted to her family and church, holding a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother. She enjoyed gardening, knitting cooking and mushroom hunting.

Fond grandma of Christina Ziccarelli (Brian Rideout), Andrew (Michelle) Ziccarelli and Patricia Ziccarelli (fiancé Kevin Krupchak. Great grandma of Rosemarie Ziccarelli. Dear sister of late Louis (RoseAnn) Santello, Joseph (Catherine) Santello, Carmella (late Vincent Peliachevsky and late Lena (late Anthony) Scopelliti. Cherished aunt to many.
